The bitch Daschund breed was brought to the surgery in the afternoon hours because she was unable to whelp since the morning hours. Two years ago, she was involved in an accident when she was hit by a car and broke her pelvis bones. After healing, she was unable to deliver naturally.

After examination, the dog was connected toinfusion, sedated and narcosis introduced after ten minutes.

When the dog was put to sleep, we shaved her and prepared the operating area. Following disinfection             and protection of operating area, we opened the abdominal cavity (cr2). By slitting the skin, abdominal muscles and peritoneum, we entered the abdominal cavity.

The uterus was then stitched with unbreakable stitches and returned to the abdominal cavity.

The same procedure was repeated with the second horn and the second puppy.

The abdominal cavity was then closed by the layers. 

10 The wound was protected with antibiotic spraying. After the surgery, the puppies were placed under the mother to nurse them. several hours later the mother woke up and after seven days the stitches were taken out.
